⚠️ Important: No ride or transport-for-hire ads
Singapore's Parliament passed the Land Transport and Related Matters (No. 2) Bill on 7 Oct 2026. Under the new law:
- Drivers giving illegal point-to-point (P2P) rides in unlicensed vehicles can be fined up to S$10,000 (currently S$3,000).
- Publishing, forwarding or sharing ads for illegal P2P rides — including on Telegram and other chat apps — will be an offence.
- LTA can order advertisers to remove such ads, and require online platforms to reveal who is behind them. Not following an LTA direction is an offence.
MalayBazaar does NOT allow ride, carpool, airport transfer, JB / Malaysia trip or any transport-for-hire listings. Such posts will be removed.
